Dashana Ransome captured the girls’ 55-meter hurdles to lead the Irvington High School indoor track and field teams at the Essex County Championships last Sunday at Seton Hall University in South Orange.
The IHS girls’ team finished fourth overall in the girls’ team standings among the 18 scoring teams based on top-six finishes in the events. Newark Tech won the girls’ team crown.

Ten days after being fired as the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Raheem Morris was hired as the defensive backs coach for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League.
