"Lead Free is Best for Me"

Benjamin Moore Paints will sponsor a “Lead Free is Best for Me” Day for parents and their families at the Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium in Newark, N.J. on Sunday, June 27 at 1:35p.m. Lead poisoning is one of America's leading environmental health threats to young children, and is prevalent in some of New Jersey’s most vulnerable communities, such as Newark, East Orange, Irvington, Paterson and Jersey City. “Lead Free is Best for Me” is a public health education program focused on lead education and prevention efforts across the state of New Jersey and is committed to teaching communities about the risks of lead by encouraging local education efforts, home care and screening for children.
